Does anyone know what has happened to gmane and what needs doing to
get the search to work again? The search links at
http://swig.org/mail.html no longer work.

The original maintainer (Lars Ingebrigtsen) gave up on maintaining it due
to a number of DDoS attacks[1] and for some time it looked like it would
disappear completely, but then a new maintainer was found and parts of the
site came back online. However it's apparently a long process[2] and it
doesn't seem to have completed yet, the archives of many lists I've used in
the past are still not available.

I'm afraid the only thing to do is to wait until the site comes fully back
online. Of course, it's perfectly possible that it's not going to happen :-(
